Dear Beloved Members, Pastors, and Supporters,
In many congregations, faithful women are present, serving, praying, and carrying much of the ministry weight. Meanwhile, too many men are absent, disengaged, or spiritually passive. They may attend occasionally, but they are not leading their homes, discipling their children, or standing in the gap for their families and churches.
Scripture paints a different picture of God’s design. God calls men to be servant leaders, to love their wives as Christ loved the church, to bring their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and to contend for the faith with courage and humility. When men step back from this calling, the ripple effects are noticeable; Homes weaken, churches struggle, and the next generation grows up without clear spiritual examples to follow.
This burden is not rooted in judgement, but in love and concern. It is a burden to see men awaken to who God has called them to be. A burden to see men move from spectators to servants, from silence to spiritual leadership, from convenience to commitment.
The enemy knows the power of a godly man. He also knows that if he can distract, discourage, or divide men, entire families and churches are impacted. That is why this moment calls for intentional discipleship, clear biblical teaching, and authentic relationships where men can grow, confess, learn, and be challenged.
The church must continue to call men upward; not with condemnation, but with conviction and hope. God is still in the business of restoring men, shaping leaders, and using ordinary lives for extraordinary purposes. My prayer is that men will respond to the call, take up their God-given responsibility, and stand faithfully in their homes, their churches, and their communities.
There is a statistic that is often shared that when the man/father comes to Christ first, there is a 93% chance that the family will follow (No one ever cites the source of that information). It may or may not be true, but it is certainty that there is a better chance.
May the Lord raise up men who will lead with humility, serve with faithfulness, and walk boldly with Christ, for His glory and for the generations to come.
