Hi all,
Happy May! As we move into this month and the weather becomes so nice, it's a great time to get more active - and also a good time to check in on something many of us overlook: our posture.
May is recognized as National Posture Month, a reminder that how we sit, stand, and move throughout the day plays a major role in how our bodies feel and function. With so much time spent on computers, phones, and in the car, it's easy for poor posture habits to develop without even realizing it.
Good posture isn't about being perfectly straight all the time - it's about keeping your body in positions that allow it to move and function optimally. Small changes throughout the day, paying particular attention to ergonomics, can make a big difference. I am always happy to review with you my tips for proper sitting, standing, and sleep posture to minimize aches and pains.
Chiropractic care supports better posture by keeping the body's joints moving and properly aligned. Postural stress is minimized and aches and pains are eased or eliminated.
So, if you've been feeling a little "off" lately, now might be a good time to give our office a call and come in for a spring postural tune-up. You'll feel better!
Take care and stay healthy,
Dr Dave
