The mobile nature center programming is featured at many Fairfax County outreach events and continues to reach children and families in low-income communities.
The popularity and overwhelming number of requests for the Wonder Wagon is proof that a second version is needed to adequately meet demand.
Environmental education and outdoor recreation are not just all fun and games, they are a critical part of community resilience and child development through connections, healthy play, exploration and discovery. A priceless investment in our future.
Help us reach the goal of $100,000 to purchase, outfit, and operate a second Wonder Wagon experience.

Head down to Fairfax County's farm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at FCPA's Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon, Virginia.
Ages 2 and up are invited to Spring Farm Day to experience farming activities and work with the animals. Enjoy crafts, games and wagon rides.
One wagon ride is included with each paid admission!
