Reception: May 29th, from 6 - 8 PM

Where: Corbin Studio & Gallery, 4 East Main St, Crisfield

Cost: Free to the public

Description: Visual Artists choose a piece of music and create artwork from the music. Artists will have the opportunity to explain their music selection and artwork at the reception unveiling.

The

Symphony of Senses art exhibit is a unique and immersive experience where art and music converge to create a sensory symphony. This exhibit will run from May 29th to June 20th, with a special reception on Friday, May 29th, from 6-8 PM.

Join us for an evening of creativity, where artists and attendees explore the profound connection between music and visual art. The

Symphony of Senses art exhibit offers a unique fusion of art and music, inviting artists to explore the profound connection between these two creative realms. This exhibit encourages participants to delve into the emotive power of music and translate those feelings into visual

art.

In this exhibit, artists are invited to select any category of music that resonates with them. Each artist can contribute up to two entries, providing a rich tapestry of interpretations and expressions. The challenge is to listen deeply to a chosen piece of music and allow it to inspire a visual artwork. The core of this exhibit lies in the transformative power of music. Artists are encouraged to delve into their emotions and thoughts as they listen to their chosen piece.

Drop-off Dates: Drop off your art by May 27th. Corbin is open Wed - Sat, from 11 - 3 PM, or by appointment. Email Karen at artsincrisfield@gmail.com
