The Library has partnered with MetroLink to bring EV chargers to the library parking lot. There will be 4 total chargers in the library parking lot. In order to offset the parking spots needed for the chargers, the library has added 4 additional parking spots to our lot. EV charging spots may only be occupied by vehicles actively charging and must be available 24 hours a day. For more details regarding the library's parking lot, please review the Library's Public Parking Lot Policy. | | |
Director’s Bookshelf
The last few weeks I have been doing comfort reading by revisiting the Fourth Wing Series by Rebecca Yarros. The re-read of the 3-book series was just as exhilarating as the first time around. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the fourth book in the series to hit shelves, hopefully sometime in 2027. If you haven't heard of the series, it is a must read for fantasy lovers. It takes place in a war college, focusing on the Rider's Quadrant, where 21-year-old cadets train (often times to the death) in hopes of being chosen by a dragon. Once bonded to a dragon, cadets train for 2 more years in the art of warfare to protect their continent from the evil that is lurking just outside their protective magical wards. Book two is Iron Flame, and book three is Onyx Storm.
