----MAY 2026 EDITION----

Happy Springtime Alamo Ranch Neighbors,

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying our mild-ish weather. The April rain is going to bring some May flowers, but it is also making our yards grow very fast, and a lot of yards are looking particularly long. The office would like us to take the weekend and early next week to get our yards in control before they come around for yard violations. Plus, we want our community to look nice. Landscapers are coming around as well to get the common areas trimmed down. The slide will be opening this month on Memorial Day weekend, and if you could please please have a conversation with your children about playing on the slide when it's not running and other behaviors at the pool when not supervised. The board can vote to increase the age of unsupervised kids at the amenities, and we'd like to keep it at 13, but there has been some questionable behavior already happening, so please have the talks now so it doesn't ruin yours or your child's summer.

The sports court has been a big hit! I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying it. The plan for the old basketball court is to turn it into additional seating and a play area. Be on the lookout for some tables, giant Jenga, four-square court, and more coming soon.

The board voted to approve a contractor for the pavilion plans last week. We do need to get a redraw for the plans because the original architect drew a very nice building, but the quotes were coming out to be more than a million dollars, so the board decided to scratch that and make a new plan. We have found a great local family-owned company that we feel will help us get the best pavilion for our budget. This is a step in the right direction, and I will give the community more updates as they come.

As always, if you have any comments or concerns, you can email me.
