New Ministry Opportunity: Driving is Surviving
In Escambia County, four of five workers who work outside their homes drive alone. Thus, a safe, reliable car or truck is essential to keeping a job and maintaining financial stability—especially since half of this group makes less than $38,000 per year. We’re forming a team to start a new FUMC Pensacola ministry to help people understand, maintain, and repair their cars, and perhaps even provide cars to persons in extreme need. If you want to join us, please contact Michael King at mdkgator@bellsouth.net or at 251-689-1040.

Volunteers & Donations Needed for VBS

Positions include Crew Leader, Decorations, Registration, Prayer Team, Craft/mission Station Leader, Recreation Station Leader, Craft Station Leader, & Reflection Station Leader. We will also have an "adopt-an-item" board available in the Church-Office.. Monetary donations are always welcome. Contact Lisa Bond for more information.

Summer Servers Needed
Serve the Hungry Ministry is looking for some volunteers to help out this Summer on Mondays and Thursdays. They need people to help prepare the meal and serve on either day. You can sign up for every week, most weeks or once a month. Great thing to do with a friend and you can earn volunteer hours as well. If you would like to help serve the hungry in our community, please contact Katie Ramsey at kmwramsey@gmail.com or Lisa Bond at 850-549-8967.

Make a commitment this Easter season to read scripture each day. It's a good practice. If you don’t already have a daily devotion, the scriptures below are designed to expand the range of biblical reading in worship and personal devotion. You can find them in the bulletin each week. The Daily Readings are taken from “The Daily Office Lectionary” in The Book of Common Prayer. Read the Bible each week. It will be a blessing.
Monday - Psalm 89; Ezek. 4:1-17; Heb. 6:1-12; Luke 9:51-62
Tuesday - Psalm 97 and 99; Ezek. 7:10-15, 23b-27; Heb. 6:13-20; Luke 10:1-17
Wednesday - Psalm 101, 109:1-4 (5-19) 20-30; Ezek. 11:14-25; Heb. 7:1-17; Luke 10:17-24
Thursday - Psalm 105:1-22; Ezek. 18:1-4, 19-32; Heb. 7:18-28; Luke 10:25-37
Friday - Psalm 102; Ezek. 34:17-31; Heb. 8:1-13; Luke 10:38-42
Saturday - Psalm 107:33-43, 108:1-6(7-13); Ezek. 43:1-12; Heb. 9:1-14; Luke 11:14-23
Eve of Pentecost - Psalm 33; Exod. 19:3-8a, 16-20; 1 Pet. 2:4-10
