Weatherization Public Notice 2020-01 Released
On May 18, 2020, KHC released the latest Public Notice (PN) 2020-01 to introduce the Weatherization Ready Repair Program and update policies regarding gas stove replacement. To read the public notice, please visit the HCA Help Desk. Further training on the Weatherization Ready Repair Program is scheduled for next Thursday, May 28, 2020.

Applications Accepted for KHC Housing Choice Voucher Program
KHC's Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) will begin accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program at 9 a.m. ET Monday, June 1, 2020. The Section 8 online application will be available within the applicant Rent Café by creating an account; or persons may call into KHC's Customer Service at 877-552-7368, extension 888, to complete by phone or request an application via email at [email protected] and return via email. Hand delivered or mailed applications will not be accepted. Please visit KHC's website for the list of counties served by the KHC Housing Choice Voucher program.
Please direct those interested in applying to KHC's website, under Rental, HCV Rent Café, Applicant Rent Café. We encourage everyone wanting assistance to register online. Applications are accepted in the order they are received.
Waiting list applications and registration for new applicants will not be available until 9 a.m. ET Monday, June 1, 2020.

Joint Mortgage and Housing Assistance Website Launched for Americans Impacted by COVID-19
To ensure homeowners and renters have the most up-to-date and accurate housing assistance information during the COVID-19 national emergency, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) launched the new mortgage and housing assistance website https://www.cfpb.gov/housing.
