Our final week is upon us and although a break is needed, we will certainly miss all of our students in the upcoming weeks. Thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us. We are so blessed to be part of their life story.
We are making plans for the upcoming school year. A big thank you to Eldon and Billie Giese, for heading up an Operation Play Safe project for us. We are getting estimates on revamping the playground equipment and a more suitable drop off/pick up area – stay tuned!
Our teaching assignments next year will be as follows: Mrs. Quimby, Mrs. Patt and Mrs. Ninnemann will continue to lead our K3 and K4 preschoolers. Mrs. Briggs will also continue to teach kindergarten and grade 1; Mrs. Erickson will be teaching grades 2 and 3; Mrs. Rahlf will be teaching grades 4 and 5 and Mrs. Dotzler will teach grades 6, 7 and 8. We have added a full STEM curriculum to grade 8.
We will be changing our handwriting series to Zaner-Bloser and continue to teach cursive in grade 2. All students in grades K5 and up will continue with the Circle of Grace lessons in addition to our Religion curriculum as an archdiocesan directive. We will again be participating in the Kettle Moraine Catholic Schools League in the Fall. Please give consideration to lending your time and talent to be a basketball or volleyball coach.
Today we enjoyed our “for-the-day-only” Principal, Mr. Ninnemann and Secretary, Mr. Priepke. The day was filled with fun and laughs, story time, singing and silliness! Looking forward to seeing you Friday at the Preschool Promotion, All-School Mass and awards. Remember, we have an early release on Friday after awards.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the warmer weather!
