Transformance Sports Camp (ages 7-18)

June 19-22, 9:45-11:45am (Mon-Thurs)

Children and youth ages 7 and up are invited to a week of fun and physical activity with Coach Mike in the Activities Center. Come and develop important skills physically, mentally, and spiritually. Cost: $100. Snack provided. Scholarships available.

Family Bingo Night (all ages)

Wednesday, June 21, 5:00-7:00pm

A fun evening of Bingo, dinner, and prizes! Sign-up coming soon. Activities Center. Sign-up below!

Worship Arts Camp (elementary)

July 17-21, 9:00am-2:00pm

A week of fun, worship, and creativity. No cost. Lunch provided. It's like a VBS but supercharged! The week ends with a Friday evening showcase. More info to come!

Baptisms on the Beach (all ages)

Wednesday, July 26, 5:00-7:00pm

Come and gather at Johnson Beach for dinner and baptisms in the Gulf of Mexico. More info to come.

Back to School Bash Outreach

Saturday, July 29, 2023, 10:00am-Noon

Volunteers will assemble and distribute hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies and other items needed to go back to school soon after. Lunch is provided, free haircuts available, and so much more!

Bingo Night

Wednesday June 21, 5:00-7:00pm

The whole family is invited to Bingo Night in the Activities Center. Chick-fil-a sandwiches, chips, cookie, and drinks will be served ($5/person, $20/max per family). Deadline to sign up: June 14.

Costa Rica Fundraising: Boston Butt Sale and T-shirts

Our Costa Rica mission team is preparing for a wonderful trip this July! Thank you to all who purchased t-shirts yesterday as part of our fundraising efforts! We still have some remaining but sizes are limited. They will be available again next Sunday.

Also, next Sunday, we will begin selling tickets for smoked boston butts. 100% of the proceeds will go toward the trip thanks to a very generous donor, "Cooking for Christ." We will have 65 available to sell on a first-come first-serve basis. Pickup for the Boston Butts will be Saturday, June 10. The suggested donation amount is $45.

Come and be a part of the Grumpy Old Men - a service oriented group that meets each Thursday at 8:00am in the Activities Center for fellowship and planning projects. We would love to have you join us- young or old, man or woman!

Transformance Fitness

Transformance is a strength training class for children and adults that takes place each Monday and Thursday in the Activities Center at various times throughout the day. $100/6-week session. See more by visiting our website.

Quilters on the Key

1st & 3rd Thursdays, 9:30am-12:30pm

You're invited to join this group for a time of fellowship and quilting in the Activities Center. Quilts and other items are crafted and given to persons facing difficult situations as a gesture of comfort and thoughtfulness. Use your talents to spread the love of God as part of this important group of service and fellowship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00pm

The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to knit and crochet blankets and other items of comfort and encouragement. These items are given to newborn babies, those facing health issues, and more. Come and be a part of this group of fellowship and giving- all are welcome! It's a wonderful time of getting to know others while also making a difference for those who need to feel God's care.

We want to stay in touch with you, please feel free to call us at the church number 850-492-2135 and ask to be connected with the visitation team.

New Members Class

If you are a new member or would like to learn more about what it means to follow Jesus as a member of Perdido Bay United Methodist church, you are invited to take part in the New Members Class led by Pastor Scott during the Sunday School hour in the Activities Center, Room A207. A new 4-week session will begin on June 4 and another one begins on August 6.

Men's Bible Study

Mondays at 6:00am

Join us on Mondays in the Activities Center as we study God's Word together and discuss how to apply it to our lives. We are currently studying the New Testament (1 Corinthians) using NT Wright's New Testament book as a guide. Find out more by calling the church office.

1 Corinthians Podcast and Reading Plan

Join us as we read through the book of 1 Corinthians and hear a daily message from our pastors corresponding to the day’s reading.

Sunday School: Find a class today!

There are many Sunday school Classes available for adults. Join us weekly at 10:10am in the Activities Center! Nursery, Elementary, and Youth meet in the Education Building. Find more information below!

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting

Tuesdays at 8:30am

You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to [email protected] or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk.

Prayer lists are available to be picked up at the Hospitality Desk.

Nursery, Elementary, & Youth Information

Nursery (8 weeks - Pre-K)

A nursery is available for all church services and many activities. Wee Worship takes place Sunday mornings during Worship Services. Preschool Sunday school is at 10:00am. Contact [email protected] for more information!

PBUMC Kids Ministry (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)

PBUMC Kids Ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. Email [email protected] to be placed on our email list or to find out more.

The Wave Student Ministry (for 6th-12th Grades)

All 6th-12th graders are invited to Sunday school each week at 10:10am in the Youth Room and Sunday Gym Night each week from 4:00-6:00pm in the Activities Center, Dinner provided. Email [email protected] for more information.
