Clergy of the Diocese gather for Annual Conference

Last week, many clergy of the diocese gathered in Healdsburg at the Bishop's Ranch for a time of learning, fellowship, worship, and renewal. The theme for the Conference was Being Well | Well Being, with several workshops led by the The Rev. Dr. Vicki Johnson, a highly-regarded clergy leader and wellness coach. The retreat emphasized the importance of self-care. Judging by the many smiles in the photos above, it was a success!

Justo - a 92 year old priest in the Philippine Independent Church (which is in full communion with the Episcopal Church). Fr. Junto was one of three missionaries sent to Filipino communities in Hawaii years ago.

Last Sunday, Bishop Megan visited Ascension Church in Vallejo. Assisted by Deacon Canon Cookie Clark and Rector The Rev. Bayani Rico, the bishop preached, confirmed and received new members, and celebrated the Eucharist. Her visit included a wonderful luncheon with the congregation.

Many thanks to the folks at Ascension for their warm welcome and hospitality.

Canon Julie Wakelee Visits Christ the King, Quincy

Last Sunday, the Rev. Julie Wakelee, Canon to the Ordinary, visited with the congregation of Christ the King, Quincy. While there, Canon Julie preached and celebrated the Eucharist. The service was followed by a time of fellowship with parishioners and beginning discussions about their role in the FaithX Vitality project. Many thanks for your warm welcome and hospitality!
