A Message from the President |
Dear Carondelet Community,
Last weekend, we celebrated the Class of 2025's graduation. Be sure to check out the Graduation Photos and Telecast for a glimpse into this beautiful Carondelet milestone.
Wishing our current students clarity of mind during their finals, and lots of rest and relaxation as they head into summer.
We joyfully welcome the Class of 2029 students—ready to begin their own journey of heart, faith, courage, and excellence. Save the Date and Sign Up for the upcoming Frosh Movie Night on Tuesday, June 3—a fun-filled kickoff event for our frosh students to get to know their new classmates.
While summer brings a quieter rhythm to campus, our business team and academic staff will stay busy preparing for the 2025-26 school year. Numerous facility projects are underway—most notably the construction of the Boscacci Performance Center.
While we look forward to the slower pace, we will miss the laughter and joy that only our students can bring to our halls. May you and your family have a safe and blessed summer, and know that you are in our prayers these next two months!
Jessica Mix '99

Spring Sports Wrap Up
Badminton
The Badminton program continued to grow in skill, spirit, and strength this season. Our student-athletes showed tremendous dedication and improvement throughout the spring, showcasing competitiveness, resilience, and teamwork. The team represented Carondelet with pride in every match. The foundation built this year sets the stage for even greater success in seasons to come, and we’re excited to see the program continue to rise.
Beach Volleyball
This spring marked the inaugural season of Beach Volleyball as an official East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) sport—and our team made history! Carondelet finished the season as undefeated league champions with a perfect 10-0 record (9-0 in league play). In the EBAL Individual Tournament, our top pair, Meena Kasirajan '26 and Sophia Hylen '27, brought home the championship title, going undefeated in the gold bracket. Bella Vertudez '26 and Samantha Ferguson '26 went undefeated and won the silver bracket. The future is bright for this rising program, and it’s exciting to see Beach Volleyball growing as a competitive sport in our community.
Diving
The Diving program made a big splash this spring with one of its most dynamic seasons yet. For the first time in four years, our divers competed in the EBAL Championships, signaling a new era for the program. The team continues to push boundaries, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead as they reach even greater heights next spring.
Lacrosse
Facing one of the most competitive schedules in the CIF-North Coast Section (NCS), Lacrosse proved its resilience and skill. The highlight of the season came during Spring Break, when the team traveled to Southern California and defeated national powerhouse Mater Dei (Santa Ana), 10-9. A true statement win that reflects the program’s growing strength and potential.
Rugby
Rugby delivered an incredible season filled with memorable moments and thrilling wins. One of the highlights was a dominant 40-5 victory over Bishop O’Dowd during their Support Our Sisters (SOS) Game, part of our Friday Night Lights series. The energy continued on Senior Night, when the Cougars edged out Pleasanton in a heart-pounding 21-20 win that came down to the final seconds. Their strong regular season earned them a spot in the Rugby NorCal Championships. We also proudly celebrated five rugby student-athletes during our Spring Commitment Day—testament to the talent and dedication within the program.
Softball
Softball wrapped up a standout regular season as EBAL Champions with a stellar 11-2 league record—their best since 2018! The team earned the #2 seed in the NCS Playoffs. We are thrilled to share that our softball team played very well on Friday night, and defeated Archie Williams, 7-0, to thrive and advance to the NCS Semi-Finals! We are proud of their hard work. Come out and cheer them on as they continue their postseason run!

Stunt
The 2025 season was the best season in Stunt program history! Highlights included a thrilling 3-game winning streak and an overtime victory in the season finale against Dougherty Valley, 18-16. With no seniors on this year’s roster, the Stunt program is poised for even greater achievements next year.
Swimming
For the fourth consecutive year, both the Varsity and JV Swim teams captured the EBAL Championship—an incredible 4-peat! The program continued its tradition of excellence at the NCS Championships and remained highly competitive at the CIF State Meet. Senior Ellie Butler delivered a standout performance, helping the team hold its own against some of California’s best. View Instagram post and photos.
Track and Field
Track & Field finished as EBAL runners-up and had a powerful showing in the postseason. Despite sending a small group to the NCS Tri-Valley Section meet, they placed 4th overall in NCS. Highlights included Tatum Trucks’ 1st place in the 100m Hurdles and 3rd in the 300m Hurdles, Malia Velasco’s 3rd in the 100m Hurdles, Gretchen Yakaitis’ ('26) 3rd in the 800m, Kiana Kenion’s 3rd in the Long Jump, and a 3rd place finish in the 4x100 relay by Milan Evans '28, Kiana Kenion '26, Tatum Trucks '28, and Malia Velasco '26.
