SFPS is pleased to announce the winners of the end-of-year attendance challenge. For the overall challenge, the schools with the most growth over the first four weeks of May are Amy Biehl Community School/K-6 (pictured above), with 1.21 percent growth in attendance, Milagro Middle School/7-8, with 1.09 percent growth, and Mandela International Magnet School/High School with 3.51 percent growth. All three schools were recognized by the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce for their attendance efforts.

Congratulations to all students and schools for joining in this effort. Let's keep the momentum going when the school year opens in August!

SFPS se complace en anunciar a los ganadores del desafío de asistencia de fin de año. Para el desafío general, las escuelas con el mayor crecimiento durante las primeras cuatro semanas de mayo son Amy Biehl Community School/K-6 (en la foto de arriba), con un 1.21 por ciento de crecimiento en asistencia, Milagro Middle School/7-8, con 1.09 por ciento crecimiento, y Mandela International Magnet School/High School con un crecimiento de 3.51 por ciento. You are invited to a free, vibrant participatory procession to return water to the Rio Chiquito (now Water Street) on Saturday, June 10th, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The procession begins at Alameda and Paseo de Peralta, flows down Water Street to the Santa Fe River at Guadalupe and concludes at De Vargas Park. All are welcome to join anywhere along the route! Please wear blue, green and/or white and bring water to drink and to return to the Santa Fe River. Featured will be local artists, giant puppets, music, dance, mural art, street theater and poetry. Students at Acequia Madre and Carlos Gilbert Elementary Schools created artwork for the FLOW public art project.

Sponsored by Wise Fool New Mexico, "FLOW is an awakening to what was, what is, and what could be, marking the Rio Chiquito’s path (now Water Street), and unfolding the history of what was once a major water source for the city’s flora, fauna, and agriculture."

10 de junio: "Recordando nuestro camino hacia un futuro habitable"

Estás invitado a una vibrante y gratuita procesión participativa para devolver el agua al Río Chiquito (ahora Calle del Agua) el sábado 10 de junio de 9:30 a 11:30 a. m. La procesión comienza en la Alameda y Paseo de Peralta, baja por el Agua Calle al Río Santa Fe en Guadalupe y concluye en el Parque De Vargas. ¡Todos son bienvenidos a unirse en cualquier lugar a lo largo de la ruta! Favor de vestir de azul, verde y/o blanco y llevar agua para beber y para regresar al río Santa Fe. Habrá artistas locales, títeres gigantes, música, danza, arte mural, teatro de calle y poesía. Los estudiantes de las escuelas primarias Acequia Madre y Carlos Gilbert crearon obras de arte para el proyecto de arte público FLOW.
