Celebrate Jewish‑American Heritage Month with a full day of engaging programs at the library that highlight Jewish culture, creativity, and community traditions through stories, art, and movement. All events are free, in person, and open to all ages.
Children's Storytime
10:30 AM at 2nd Floor, Youth Library
The day begins with a family‑friendly Jewish‑American Heritage Storytime, featuring picture books and songs that explore Jewish traditions, culture, and identity.
Jewish Papercutting
11:00 AM at 2nd Floor, Makerspace
Later in the morning, patrons of all ages are invited to drop in for Jewish Papercutting, a hands‑on art activity inspired by Eastern European Jewish folk art—no experience required and all materials provided.
Yiddish Dance Workshop
11:30 AM at 2nd Floor, Large Dance Studio
The celebration concludes with a lively Yiddish Dance Workshop, where participants will learn traditional Yemenite, Hasidic, klezmer, and folk dances in an inclusive, welcoming environment.
