This Week: Congratulations to the Class of 2021; Call for submissions from the Language Resource Center
Concentration Announcements & Opportunities
Congratulations, Harvard College Class of 2021!
Call for Audio Submissions from the Harvard Language Resource Center
Deadline: Tuesday, June 1 | 5:00pm ET

The Language Exchange site (languageexchange.fas.harvard.edu) has moved to the final round in a competition for funding at Harvard (PAIF). In only a few minutes, you can help the LRC put together a compelling video pitch! Here's what the LRC needs from you:

1)    An audio file of your voice saying “Harvard speaks (your language).” For example, “Harvard parla italiano” if Italian is your mother tongue. Please choose the (non-English) language you feel most comfortable speaking.
a.     You can use the voice-recorder on your cell phone for the audio file (Voice Memos, etc.). Select the highest bit rate for the audio and M4A format if possible.
b.     When recording, please place a paper towel roll or folded towel underneath your phone with the microphone slightly over the edge. This will help eliminate sound distortion.
c.     Please upload your final audio file here: https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/Harvard-MPC-Uplink
2)    A high-quality image of yourself. (one of you working would be ideal.)
3)    Finally, please provide a transcription of your recording in your language, using the corresponding alphabet/characters. E-mail this, along with your image, to Mary Disalvo disalvo@fas.harvard.edu.
