Hello business community representatives,

The novel coronavirus has left the City, State, and County facing numerous challenges. None is more important than safely opening back up the economy, to get people back to work, while maintaining the highest standards for safety and health precautions. The Mayor's Office of Economic Development is working to better assess regional PPE needs of small businesses across Los Angeles as they begin to open up. We are asking your help in disseminating the brief survey  linked here  to your members, constituents, and the small business community at large. We are asking for business owners or representatives to respond by 2pm on Friday afternoon .

We appreciate your help in getting this survey out.

Thank you all,

Last week, City Planning released a new memo summarizing the updated fee schedule for the Affordable Housing Linkage Fee (Linkage Fee). The revised fee schedule incorporates the latest change to the Consumer Price Index (CPI-U) for the greater Los Angeles area, adjusted to account for annual inflation. The updated fee schedule will take effect on July 1, 2020 and will result in a 0.7 percent increase across each market area as specified in the Linkage Fee Ordinance . Development Projects that are subject to the Linkage Fee pay the applicable fee amount that is in place at the time of building permit issuance.
