Do you love to sing? Join us! If you’ve always wanted to sing with the Dayspring Choir, summer is the perfect time to jump in. Our Summer Choir sings at the 10:00am service on the first and third Sundays of the month—with no weekday rehearsals! Just come at 9:20am on the morning of the service to learn the song and warm up.

Our youth group is holding a Car Wash this Sunday following the 10:00 service until 12:30 to raise money for this summer’s Sierra Service Project mission trip. If you don't need your car washed, or won't be at church on Sunday, but would still like to donate to our youth group's travel expenses as they serve the community in San Diego this year, you can donate securely online HERE - please select SSP in the dropdown menu so your donation is applied to the correct fund. Prayer Shawl Ministry meets at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in the Fellowship Hall - or on the patio, weather permitting! All knitters and crocheters age 7th grade and older are welcome to participate. Yarn and patterns are available. This ministry is growing and we need more people making shawls and blankets. Please email Susan Staley with questions. 

Second Sundays at Dayspring continue this summer — just with a lighter schedule! We’re paring things down a bit, but the heart of the day remains the same. Join us for:

• Divine Feminine Conversations and Sacred Space in the early block

• Our Traditional Celebration Service and Kids' Church at 10 AM

• Relaxing Yoga & Sound Healing Meditation and the Affirming LGBTQIA+ Session later in the morning

Simple breakfast fare will be offered throughout the morning. The offerings may be fewer, but the experience will be just as meaningful. We’d love to see you there! Watch for more information!

Make a lasting difference - become the next Family Promise Coordinator! Our church hosts families experiencing homelessness four times each year, offering them safe shelter, meals, and a warm community. As the Family Promise Coordinator, you would be the primary connection between Dayspring and the Family Promise organization. You would help organize and guide our fantastic team of volunteers during these hosting weeks. Please bring in water bottles, electrolyte drinks, and nutritional snacks to support Tempe Cooling Centers this 2025 summer. We're also collecting hygiene products, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, socks, board games and books.

We are collecting Rice and Canned Meats for City Hope Center during the month of June. City Hope Center is a community outreach organization dedicated to providing essential resources and support to individuals and families in need. Operating every Saturday morning, the center offers a grocery store-style experience where guests can access food, hygiene products, and clothing at no cost.
