A Message from Pastor Dale
Over the past several years, one of the most meaningful practices of our congregation’s redevelopment journey has been our annual Church Council Planning Retreat. This Sunday afternoon, our Council will once again gather for prayer, reflection, conversation, and visioning as we evaluate our ongoing ministry goals and begin setting new strategic ministry and mission priorities for the next 2–5 years. You can always view our current ministry and mission goals at the Church Council link on our church website.
Although our formal redevelopment process officially concluded at the end of April, our commitment to intentional planning, faithful discernment, and healthy congregational growth continues. In many ways, redevelopment taught us the importance of regularly asking: Where is God leading us next? Rather than simply maintaining ministry, we now listen for how the Holy Spirit is continually calling St. Paul Lutheran Church to grow in worship, outreach, discipleship, service, and community engagement.
This past year has already shown encouraging and measurable signs of growth, including increased worship attendance and expanding ministry involvement. As we look ahead, we will continue exploring ways to strengthen hospitality, deepen faith formation, expand fellowship opportunities, care for one another, and serve, with joy, our wider community with Christ’s love.
Each year, our retreat theme verse is grounded in the promise of Ephesians 3:20:
“Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine…”
These words remind us that strategic planning is not only about setting goals; it is ultimately an act of faith and trust in God’s ongoing work among us. We invite you to keep your Church Council in prayer this weekend as together we seek and plan for God’s vision for the future of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
See you in church! (and bring a friend!)

Vasospastic Disorder
Vasospastic disorders cause blood vessels in your fingers and toes to narrow when you are cold or feeling stressed. This narrowing is called a vasospasm.
When this happens, blood cannot get to the surface of your skin so it turns white and blue. When the blood flow returns, the skin turns red and throbs or tingles. In the worse cases, blood flow loss can cause sores or tissue death. Click here to read more about Vasospastic Disorder.
