We have had quite the exciting week at Carondelet! After last week's epic Battle of the Boldest Rally, we followed it up with some of our favorite end-of-year events and celebrations: Cougar Classic, Service & Advocacy Day, Awards Night, STEAM Evening, Frosh Welcome Night, Senior Awards Assembly, and Senior Luncheon. Click the name of each event to see photos.

Holding the Moment Before the Finish

Dear Carondelet Community,

There’s a distinct shift on campus right now—the kind that signals the end of the year is no longer on the horizon; it’s here. The Spring Concert takes the stage this week, seniors gather for their Send-Off on Friday, and Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation are just around the corner. It’s the beginning of a series of meaningful goodbyes and celebrations.

And yet, we’re not at the finish line just yet.

Tomorrow marks the start of two full weeks of AP testing. For many of our students, this is the culmination of a year’s worth of rigorous, college-level work. It matters—but it shouldn’t overwhelm. The best support right now is simple and often overlooked: consistent sleep, real meals, and movement. These are not extras; they are prerequisites for focus and stamina.

It’s also worth naming what AP classes represent. Regardless of exam outcomes, students who have engaged in this level of coursework have already accomplished something significant. They’ve taken on challenges, built endurance, and developed skills that extend well beyond a single test.

So yes, we feel the pull of the end—but this moment still asks for our attention. Let’s help our students stay steady, supported, and ready for what’s right in front of them.

Attendance Update

Attendance & Safety Updates: Early Outs & Late Arrivals

We want to remind our school community of our expectations regarding student attendance and early dismissals. Students are expected to remain on campus for all scheduled classes and events throughout the school day. Early dismissals, late arrivals, and absences should be reserved for extenuating circumstances or appointments that cannot be scheduled outside of school hours.

Additionally, our campus is closed during the school day. Recently, we have seen an increase in requests for students to leave campus for lunch. Please note that early dismissals for lunch will only be granted in one-off emergency situations. These are not intended for students to routinely leave campus to pick up lunch or run errands.

We appreciate your support in ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning for the full school day. If you have any questions, please contact the Attendance Office.

Don't Forget Your School Store Orders!
