St Paul Lutheran Church, Ridgefield, is located on the original and ancestral homelands of the Mohican, Munsee, Lenape, and Schaghticoke peoples, and we give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial. We also wish to recognize and honor all our Indigenous siblings who have and continue to call this land their home.

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Almighty God, your Son Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Give us grace to love one another, to follow in the way of his commandments, and to share his risen life with all the world, for he lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.

...from the Pastor...

There we were, this past Friday evening, (April 24), the LGBT ministry standing together, a family, a community, gathered around the sacrament of Holy Communion. We are gay, straight, seeking belonging, poised to join the church, long time members, one (not pictured) wanting to be baptized. The call of Jesus to love, to love each other, to be for each other what the world will not do, is our call. It is our joyful obligation. Once again, bread was broken, wine was poured, and it was enough. We were(are) a family, a community. We are God's beloved children. We invite you to come and be a part of our family, our community.
