New Jersey Army National Guard Sgt. Stephanie Hoang grew up as the tomboy of her family, she says, surrounded by male family members who talked about joining the Army. In 2011, as a freshman in college, she saw the free education benefits the New Jersey Guard offers, and decided to join.

Due to the coronavirus, the U.S. Army just announced that the National Museum of the United States Army will delay its public opening in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Originally scheduled to open June 4th the project has been impacted by the suspension of some of the exhibit gallery finishing work.

Trident University Scholarship Program

The Army Women’s Foundation and Trident University recognize the importance of education and the role it plays in personal, professional and economic fulfillment. As part of the Army Women’s Foundation Scholarship Program, the Tr ident University Scholarship Program provides full-ride scholarships to Women Soldiers, past and present, and their lineal descendants to help them attain their educational goals. The Trident University Scholarship Program annually provides full ride scholarships for one (1) student pursuing a bachelor’s degree and one (1) student pursuing a graduate degree. Scholarships are awarded only for coursework from Trident University.
