This Sunday, May 11, 2025, will be the 4th Sunday of Easter and Mother's Day! The Scripture will be John 10.22-30. The sermon is titled, Teach Me Your Way, O Lord.

We're hoping to see you this Sunday!

The United Methodist Church has unveiled a new guiding vision statement. It is as follows:

The United Methodist Church forms disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in local communities and worldwide connections.

This week, we will open with, Come Now Is The Time to Worship, and close with Goodness of God. Thank you for listening, both songs will be familiar.

Local Mission Work

On behalf of the whole church and Interfaith Outreach, we thank everyone who helped this resident get a new roof on his house! He was elated for the help! Thank you to all who donated funds, snacks, popsicles, lunch, the start-up breakfast, and those who cut fallen trees in the backyard and landscaped the front yard. Seeing that gentleman's huge smile and tears in his eyes was worth every poison ivy itch and tick we acquired! We can't wait to do it again!

YOUTH NEWS

Youth, we will gather after church on May 18, 2025, to pack our Hygiene Kits.

Your presence will be of great importance! Thank you!

PRESCHOOL NEWS

We celebrated Farm Day last week. The children enjoyed a delicious farm breakfast and saw, fed, and petted chickens, rabbits, and mini horses. They ended the day with fun farm music and had special guest readers.

Our "Preschool Sunday" concert was Sunday, and the children did an amazing job sharing some of their favorite songs and the Lord's Prayer with the HUMC church family. They have learned so much this year!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the baskets for the Foster moms. We had a great selection, and your contributions will make these moms very happy on Mother’s Day.

We also want to thank the Circle leadership team for assembling the baskets.

Blessings to everyone.

Welcome Center on Sunday Mornings!

We are seeking volunteers to help with our Sunday morning hospitality. On Sunday mornings, snacks, coffee, and water are available in the Welcome Center before each service. Pre-packaged snacks are readily available and should be supplemented with fresh items you can easily pick up at your local grocery store. Folks who sign up need to have the Welcome Center ready at 8:45 and clean up after the worship service. . The Leadership Team has been taking care of this for the past year. More volunteers are needed to buy and put out the snacks on Sunday mornings, make the coffee, and clean up after the worship service (typically takes 15 minutes). More specific directions will be posted in the hospitality kitchen off the narthex. If you can help with hospitality this way, please click the link HERE. Thank you!
