Shout out to Teatro ECAS and PVD World Music on receiving 'sustainability funding'

A pilot program, funded by The Wallace Foundation in conjunction with the five Regional Arts Organizations, including the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA), recently announced $1.1 million in grants for cultural sustainability to New England arts and culture entities. Among the awardees were Rhode Island's Teatro ECAS and PVD World Music.

The grant provides general operating support to arts organizations of color with annual operating expenses under $500,000. The funding will enable organizations to sustain and expand their practices; more deeply impact the communities they serve; and provide meaningful arts and cultural experiences for larger, cross-cultural audiences.
