House Votes to Nix ACC and ACT
The House of Representatives has voted to rescind the Waivers previously granted to California to implement two regulations: Advanced Clean Cars (mandating OEMs only allow EVs to be sold beginning in 2035) and Advanced Clean Trucks (a similar mandate with different deadlines for truck OEMs). These bills will now move to the Senate.

CEC Pauses GFO-24-512
The CEC has issued a “Notice of Pause” on GFO-24-612 - Depot Charging and Hydrogen Refueling Infrastructure for Zero-Emission Medium- and Heavy-Duty On-Road, Off-Road, and Specialty Vehicles.

US DOE Facing Massive Staff Cuts
E&E News reports that the US DOE will downsize by 3,500 employees, about one fifth of the total DOE workforce. The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations is expected to lose 75% of their staff.

DOE & EPA Budget Proposals
The President’s proposed budget will significantly reduce funding for Green New Deal programs and instead focus on technologies that promote firm baseload power and other priorities established in relevant Executive Orders, such as bioenergy. The President’s budget also proposes elimination of the DERA Grant Program.
