Play on a Plane is Coming!!!

Have you made plans to attend Play on a Plane this year? We have some really cool surprises. In addition to some great help from WSU Tech, we will feature some planes that have not been accessed for over a decade to the public. It's just $3 a person or $8 a carload. If you are a member, you get early access beginning at 9:00AM. Don't miss out!

Pups & Planes

KAM is going to do the dogs on Saturday, May 14th from 12-4pm. We've teamed up with the Kansas Humane Society to help clear their shelter. Come and pet some pups and see how you can foster or adopt some fur friends! The event is $10 with part of the proceeds going to KHS and their work.

Little Aviators 2022

One of the most exciting programs we offer is our Little Aviators Program. Aimed at bringing kids to the museum to get hands on experience with the history of Kansas aviation, and every Friday allows us that opportunity.

Thanks to our partners, The Mattress Hub, we are able to offer this program free to all kids 12 and under, as well as a free admission for one adult per household and 50% off from additional adults.

Little Aviators is held every Friday from 10a-12p. Come out and enjoy a day at KAM.

We are excited to be hosting Monday Movies at the Museum this summer as well thanks to our new partners at Campus Credit Union. June 6th, July 11th and August 1st we will be showing a different movie each evening. It's a cost of $2 per person. June 6th we will be kicking it off with Casper! 6:30pm each of those days in our Atrium area.

Senior Thursday Series

Join us May 12th as we are joined by the Wichita Art Museum and Dr. Tera Hedrick as she talks about the Art Deco Exhibit at WAM and the history of the Art Deco Design of the original Wichita Municipal Airport (now KAM).

School is almost out. The transition to summer is always full of angst and excitement. Kids are ready to sleep in, parents are trying to figure how to keep the kids entertained, and everyone is ready to get out and explore. The Kansas Aviation Museum has some exciting events this month with a few surprises mixed in, not to mention that Little Aviators continues all summer long.

Come get your new KAM merchandise that includes tumblers, coffee mugs, kids, youth and adult shirts (even in KU, KSU, and WSU colors). Also, memberships are 30% through 2022.
