May | 2025

May means busy days at KidsAbility for children, youth and their families across all locations in the communities we serve.

Hi Lisa,

In this Connections edition, there is much to share here in May at KidsAbility, and gratitude is a big one!

It's thanks to your tremendous support and participation in COBS Bakery Doughnation Day, Tim Hortons' Smile Cookie Week and McDonald's McHappy Day that KidsAbility will once again receive funds from the proceeds of these national campaigns.

Final tallies take time to receive, but I couldn't wait any longer to share how thankful I am that you intentionally purchased from community supporters who choose KidsAbility above all other charities to support. Follow along with our social media for updates! You'll find links at the end of this email.

May also marks National AccessAbility Week (May 26-31) and 35 years of raising awareness of disability inclusion. This year's theme, "Breaking Barriers, Building Community" mirrors our vision to foster an inclusive and innovative network of care where every child, youth and family are able to thrive.

Our Board Members from both KidsAbility and KidsAbility Foundation have joined together to match every donation, up to $10,000, until June 30th. This means your donation will make 2X the impact for kids immediately.

As the postal union holds off on a general strike, we expect this job action to have a similar impact to that in December, leaving unanticipated delays in mail delivery. If you are looking to make a matched donation, we encourage you give by phone, email or securely through our website.

Our work is possible thanks to you and your shared belief that every child deserves the therapy support they need to thrive. In each story you read, it's always my hope that you'll see the incredible impact you make possible as a dear friend of KidsAbility.

I'll be back in your inbox next month!

Warmly,

P.S. We are continuously improving how you receive the stories, news and updates that matter to you, straight to your inbox! Before you read further, please add your email address for uninterrupted delivery of Connections!
