Chamber Connection

Vol. 18 | Issue 5

What can I say… April was a tough month.

Between ice storms, blizzards, and flooding, Mother Nature didn’t go easy on us. But in the middle of it all, something powerful stood out—our community.

We saw an incredible outpouring of support, not just for our city, but for our neighboring communities as well. When things got difficult, people showed up.

While some of our local businesses faced significant damage and closures, our parks took a hit, and our utility and public safety crews were stretched thin and exhausted… we were also reminded of something important.

We are resilient.

We are supportive.

And we show up for each other when it matters most.

We know others around us experienced even greater devastation, and our thoughts continue to be with them. But this month gave us something to hold onto—hope. The kind that reminds us if a crisis comes our way, we’ve got this.

This month’s Collaboration Corner is a heartfelt thank you to everyone who stepped up, lent a hand, and made a difference.
