MAY 2021 Edition
Staff Notes
Hello,

It is exciting to have reached May of 2021. This time last year, COVID-19 restrictions were tightening and our future looked uncertain. Now, we are looking forward to a grading show hosted by the Silver Dollar Fair and an in-person 4-H Camp.

One important note: the May Council meeting has been cancelled and a special meeting about Silver Dollar Fair policies this year will take it's place. It will be held on May 13th at 7:00pm. The meeting information will be sent to CCL's for you to share with your respective groups.

Congratulations on nearing the end of a 4-H year that we hope never happens again!

Sincerely,

Ryan Cleland

Still In Orange Tier
Hello!

Butte County is still in the "Orange Tier".

The Orange Tier means we can occupy 50% of space's occupancy limits, not to exceed 200 people.

Please read the "UCANR In-Person Guidelines" below, and the following text. It is an easy-to-read two-page document that also explains the tiers.

Below is a simple grid showing what meetings are permitted depending on our tier status. The full document with this grid is linked below.
4-H Camp 2021
Once again, Butte County 4-H is happening! It will just look a little different this year.

Camp will be a day-camp and will take place Monday June 28th through Thursday July 1 at Durham Park.

Each day will run from 10am - 3pm.

Monday will feature a trip to the Durham Pool. The week will be filled with many of the same traditions campers are used to at Rockin' U including crafts, recreation, "cabin" groups, campfire, skits, and a ton of FUN!

The cost for campers is $59 which includes the four days of camp, a camp t-shirt, and a very special camp experience!

Check your emails on Saturday for the registration link!
