Thank you to all our IRONMAN Volunteers that not only served our athletes from near and far, but helped raise much needed funding for our many Programs and Services! Interfaith had 461 volunteers log over 2,000 volunteer hours for IRONMAN Texas! The Ironman Foundation awarded Interfaith with a $10,000 Community Grant for the Interfaith Food Pantry and Disaster Assistance Programs! We are humbled by your continued generosity and commitment to community.

Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon and Chamber Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

 
April was volunteer appreciation month. Interfaith celebrated by hosting our annual volunteer appreciation luncheon honoring those outstanding volunteers who help serve our community. Annette Neyman was honored as the Volunteer of The Year. Interfaith also attended The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon where our service to community was celebrated. 

  
 
 
John Cooper School Empty Bowls
 
The John Cooper School has generously donated the proceeds from their Empty Bowls project to the Interfaith Food Pantry. Each year, students from The John Cooper School National Art Honor Society create hundreds of bowls in an effort to raise funds to combat hunger in the community. The bowls are part of their Annual Empty Bowls Project where g uests were invited to donate $10 and in return enjoy a of a bowl of soup, a chance to bid on a silent auction items and the opportunity to take home a handmade bowl as a reminder that there are empty bowls in the community.  Thank you to  The John Cooper School  for your continued generosity! 

 King and Queen Crowned at the Montgomery County Fair!

Interfaith of The Woodlands hosted 85 senior adults for a Day Trip to "Senior Day" at The Montgomery County Fair. Rudy Justice and Rose Meir were crowned King and Queen, representing the South Montgomery County Senior Center. Numerous Senior Adults also placed in the 65 and older division show in the following categories: Canned Foods from Scratch, Desserts, Breads, Needlework, Handicrafts, Fine Arts, Quilts and Photography.  One of our senior friends won "Best in Show" with her painting.
 
 
  

Thank you for supporting Giving Goes Glam!

 
Giving Goes Glam Fashion Show and Luncheon, presented by CHI St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital, was held Friday, April 13th at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Over 800 guests attended in support of the 7th annual event raising over $350,000. The fashion show and luncheon, hosted by Interfaith of The Woodlands and Junior League of The Woodlands, combined fashion and philanthropy in support of the programs and services of both organizations.
May Food Pantry Needs

Each month Interfaith's Food Pantry feeds nearly 1,500 individuals. In addition to serving the families that visit Interfaith every day, the Interfaith Food Pantry also serves home bound Seniors. Volunteers help package and delivers groceries to Seniors in the senior complexes once a month. Roughly 185 seniors receive monthly grocery deliveries.
