The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District offered an update on key South Florida resilience efforts. The discussion covered flood risk management, navigation, infrastructure, storms, sea level rise, and the importance of a multi-lines-of-defense strategy.

The South Florida Water Management District's update focused on the C&SF Flood Resilience Study, including Planning Reaches A and B, the C-7, C-8, and C-9 basins, and the Section 203 Feasibility Study.

Data centers continue to be a recurring and evolving topic for the Council and for communities across South Florida. SFRPC staff will continue to monitor and report on this issue in future meetings.
