Troon's May/June Digital Magazine Feature: Revitalizing A Philadelphia Classic

The Cobbs Creek Foundation recently selected Troon to manage golf operations of the Cobbs Creek Golf Campus currently under development in West Philadelphia, PA. Scheduled to be completed in phases over the next three years, the 350-acre campus will serve as a hub for education and golf opportunities for the Philadelphia community.

Celebrating TGR Learning Lab's Executive Director Meredith Foote's Privileged Resolution

This week we were joined by Councilmember Curtis Jones and community supporters to honor Meredith Foote, Executive Director of the TGR Learning Lab Philadelphia on the Cobbs Creek Campus, for her trailblazing leadership with a privileged resolution passed by the Philadelphia City Council. This recognition celebrates her impact on the Philadelphia community as we work together to empower more youth through education at the TGR Learning Lab, scheduled to open in 2025. #ChampionsForYouth #ChangingTheGame

National PA Day Community Clean Up

In celebration of National PA Day, Cobbs Creek Foundation is organizing a Collaborative Community Clean Up event on Saturday, July 20th 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM at Morris Park.

“In West Philadelphia, born and raised. On the golf course was where I spent most of my days” …OK, so maybe the Fresh Prince never took up golf before being sent out to live with his auntie and uncle in Bel Air. But for today’s youth of West Philly, golf will soon start becoming a more accessible option. I am all for getting young people introduced to the game of golf, especially in historically underserved areas.
