As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to celebrate the creativity, leadership, and environmental action shown by our students, teachers, and families throughout the year. From reducing waste to conserving resources, your efforts continue to make a meaningful impact in our schools and communities.

As summer begins, we encourage families to keep the momentum going by making sustainable choices at home and on the go. Whether it’s reducing single-use plastics, conserving water and energy, exploring nature, or finding ways to give back to the environment, every small action helps create a greener future.

Opportunities for Students

What is The Underline's Green Leadership Program?

Green Leaders is an intensive, paid 12-week summer program (May through July) designed to teach professional skills for students interested in pursuing careers in horticulture.

Immersed in the linear park, students learn first-hand to identify our over 200 native plants species, their impacts on pollinators and the environment, and how to care for them in an urban garden.
