Most people are not aware of the level of toxicity a product has when using it.  

 

The general public also is not aware that the government has given us a standard code of toxicity on which each product is measured.  The level of toxicity must be put on the front of the label on any non food product produced.

Knowledge For You About the House Fly 
Most everyone knows what the common house fly is has been annoyed by the occasional fly, especially if you are eating or at a restaurant!  

Here in Southwest Florida flies are active all year round, but the height of the house fly activity rises during May and June.

House flies feed by using sponging-type mouthparts. As the fly moves about from one food source to another, it eats its food by regurgitating liquid and dropping it on the food to liquefy it.
Woodpecker Protection - The Flasher
There are about 200 species of woodpeckers and many are threatened or endangered due to loss of habitat, with 5 common species here in Southwest Florida.  

The Red-Cockaded, the Red-Bellied, the Downy, The Common Yellow Flicker, the large Pileated, and Ivory Billed Woodpecker last seen in196, all of these birds can be seen here in Southwest Florida.

The bill's chisel-like tip is kept sharp by the pecking action, with long sticky tongues, which possess bristles, aid these birds in grabbing and extracting insects deep within a hole of a tree. 

To prevent brain damage from the rapid and repeated impacts, woodpeckers have evolved a number of adaptations to protect the brain.
