May Fundraising & Involvement Opportunities

With summer right around the corner, it's the perfect time to get involved with The Children's Heart Foundation by becoming a volunteer or attending an event or Congenital Heart Walk near you!

Our volunteers and supporters have always been at the heart of our work - driving our mission by raising funds to support the most promising CHD research. We need you, appreciate, and encourage you to keep up the tremendous work you are doing!

Join us at a Congenital Heart Walk!

Our Congenital Heart Walk series is the largest walk series in the nation dedicated to raising funds for congenital heart defect research. Join us as we #WalkForCHDResearch in 30 cities across the country in 2022! Register today to become a fundraising walker or start a team. And be sure to check out our brand new fundraising incentives. We also have volunteer opportunities available at all of our walks! To register as a Volunteer, find a walk near you, click on Register as an Individual and select the Volunteer option.

If you don't see a walk in your area, register for our Nationwide Virtual Congenital Heart Walk! This event brings together families in every state where we don’t currently have a Walk (and anyone else who wants to join!) to raise funds for our mission!

From preschools to universities, commencement ceremonies are taking place across the country this month and there’s so much to celebrate! 🎓👏

The 100 Mile Heart challenge is taking place during the month of May! This fundraiser was set up by Nikki Trikki Savi in honor of the 30th anniversary of her heart surgery. It started with skating, but now she's challenging YOU to join her in logging 100 miles of movement in the month of May to raise money to support The Children's Heart Foundation! Celebrate an upcoming birthday or special event by starting a Facebook fundraiser for The Children's Heart Foundation! Setting up a Facebook fundraiser is an easy way to raise much-needed funds and awareness for CHD research.
