Our New Pastor is Here!

Chamblee First United Methodist Church is thrilled to introduce our new Senior Pastor, Rev. Blair Boyd Zant. A graduate of the University of Georgia and Duke Divinity School, she is coming to us from the North Georgia Conference where she served as the Director of the Center for Congregational Excellence. Her husband, Rev. Will Zant, is currently the Lead Pastor of Haygood Memorial UMC in Midtown Atlanta. They have two children, Katie (11) and Bethany (9). Join us Sunday, July 7th at 10:45 am as Rev. Zant begins our summer sermon series, "My Story, My Song."

Independence Day Holiday

Jul 4 & 5

The offices of Chamblee First UMC will be closed Thu, Jul 4 and Fri, Jul 5 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. The church will reopen Sun, Jul 7 for Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:45 led by our new pastor, Rev. Zant.

Meet, Greet and Eat!

Onboarding Session & Supper

Jul 9, 5:30 - 8:30 pm

A facilitated session that will help us get off to a good start with our new lead pastor. All church staff and members of lay leadership are asked to attend and actively participate. Also welcomed are members of the congregation, for whom attendance is optional. For meal headcount, please RSVP.

Summer Worship Series

Join us on Sundays at 10:45 as we learn our new pastor's faith Story and worship together with Song, featuring a different musical genre each week!
