This May, we’re shining a light on mental health awareness, celebrating the power of mentorship, and recognizing key milestones achieved by the young people we serve, the dedicated staff who show up every day, and the community members who are the heartbeat of 3rd Street.

Health Core Fellowship

A special shoutout to our Health Core Fellows, who are gaining hands-on experience in health education—this month, they’re learning CPR and are on track to become HIPAA-certified by the end of May. We’re excited to see them continue building skills that support both their personal growth and the wellness of their communities.

SHEP Kicks Off for Summer

Our Summer Health Education Program (SHEP) is launching this month, and we’re excited to welcome a new group of young people into the space! This summer’s sessions will continue to focus on health and wellness, with discussions around topics like safety, nutrition, mental health, and more. We’re looking forward to a meaningful season of learning, connection, and growth with this year’s cohort.
