Dr Tan will present a workshop: "TEMPO,TIMING and TOUCH in Hymn, Chant, and Service Playing. While most service- playing workshops focus on creating elaborate hymn introductions, reharmonizations, improvisation, sometimes church musicians forget basic elements of good service playing: providing a solid foundation to support and encourage congregational song. This workshop will review basic concept of timing touch and tempo-crucial factors in providing effective leading and accompanying from the keyboard.

St. Matthew recently undertook a console restoration of its organ, "Opus 3529", which sang again for the first time at Christmas Mass. It's time to formally dedicate and bless this glorious instrument, and the public is invited to participate!
Join us for a celebration with performances by Dr. Ronald Prowse, Rob Abbott, and Joe Balistreri. A reception will follow the event. There is no admission charge, and a free-will offering will be taken.
