News for Our Higher Education Partners

As we approach the end of the school year, we’re hyper-focused on supporting TCB course completions, ensuring that we help as many graduating high school students as possible achieve their postsecondary goals.

We’re also busy conducting our annual evaluation program with our IHE partners, as well as preparing for our upcoming in-person Summer Conference in Garland. You’ll find more details and the link to register below - we hope to see you there!

Register Now - Statewide Summer Conference on Monday, June 8

Our fourth statewide conference will be held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas on Monday, June 8. Open to representatives from all Texas LEAs and colleges, this all-day conference will provide updates on all aspects of Texas College Bridge and is also a great opportunity to engage in topical discussions and connect with peers from across the state.

Our agenda for the day will include information about the Fall 2026 launch of our new TSIA2 Test Prep program with results from our Spring pilot program, as well as EdReady platform updates such as the new, simplified process for Certificates of Completion. After our morning plenary, we’ll have lunch, followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon.

We also hope you can join us for some pre-event networking and nibbles at a Welcome Reception on Sunday, June 7 from 5-7 p.m. at the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. To help us plan our food order, please RSVP here.

Update on 2025/2026 Course Completion

So far this year, we have recorded more than 210,000 course completions (math and English). In addition, there are nearly 11,000 English students who only need a passing essay for completion.

As we progress towards the end of the school year, we will continue to work closely with districts and teachers to ensure that students do not miss out on their TSI waiver because of a missing or ungraded essay, or an unclaimed certificate.

2025-2026 Evaluation Program Update

This year, 51 of our Higher Ed partners have submitted DSAs, indicating they will participate in our program evaluation, which was kicked off during our recent Virtual Mini-Summit in March. Data sets, which will include Spring 2026, are due to Cicero Group by June 1.

We anticipate results from Cicero’s analysis in August, and will be scheduling a webinar to share with all of our partners before the beginning of the new school year.

Thanks to all of you who are participating in the evaluation this year. We greatly appreciate your participation and support in this important work!
