Recipe: Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Honey Glaze
This recipe has a perfect blend of savory and sweet, making it an ideal dish for any occasion. The tenderloin is marinated in a rich mixture of balsamic vinegar and honey, which caramelizes beautifully on the grill, creating a mouthwatering glaze. The result is a juicy, flavorful pork tenderloin with a slightly tangy and sweet finish that pairs wonderfully with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad. This recipe is not only easy to prepare but also impressive enough to serve at a dinner party.
Ingredients
- 1 pork tenderloin (about 1 to 1.5 pounds)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the Pork: Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, making sure it is evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the Tenderloin: Remove the pork from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the tenderloin on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, or cook longer if you prefer it more well-done.
- Baste with Glaze: During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the tenderloin with the reserved marinade to create a rich glaze.
- Rest and Serve: Remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!

A sure sign of spring - Louie's Brat Haus is open for 2025!
The Brat Haus serves as a fundraiser for many local organizations - youth groups, charities, church groups, and more. Louie's Brat Haus will be open most Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through the summer months. The Brat Haus serves Louie's brats, hot dogs, pop, chips, and often some freshly baked goodies.

There will be no timing, but there will be a prize for the first male and female to cross the line in the 2-mile run.

Highway 63 Road Work Update
Two years of road work projects on Highway 63 in the Cumberland area has begun, and we know you have questions.
The WI DOT has promised that access to local businesses will be maintained at all times. For 2025, Highway 63 will remain open throughout construction. Later in the year, there will be single lane closures which will not occur Friday afternoons and weekends, to hopefully keep weekend traffic flowing without interruption.
Louie's will be open regular hours. Watch for updates on our Facebook Page and our Website Location Page for any updates if it becomes necessary to suggest alternate routes or options for order pickup.
