Our Member Meeting is
Wednesday May 10th at 7pm

This month we welcome artist Dana Haigh. Based out of Groton Massachusetts, Dana has been creating Art for over 30 years. Although she works in several mediums, including watercolor and acrylics, alcohol ink is the medium she feels most connected to; the abstract fluidity she creates evokes the beauty of nature, while the figures and silhouettes present in her work represent the human connection to the natural world. The octopuses and other animals she enjoys painting represent the wonderful strangeness and beauty of nature.

4/26 - Late Breaking News!
Our companions in promoting the. arts, Nashua Community Arts, is the organization that runs the Sandy Cleary Community Art Gallery inside of the newly opened Nashua Center for the Arts
Due to constuction and the grand opening they were unable to schedule a reception for their first exhibit honoring Meri Goyette. Instead, Nashua Community Arts has agreed to invite local artists to their Donor Open House being held this Thursday 4/26 from 5 to 6:30 pm. As a member of the Hollis Arts Society you have been extended an invitation! You will be able to see the exhibit at the gallery and tour the Center, including the back of house area. It was Boston-based ICON Architecture that has been the lead architect for the Nashua Center for the Arts, the newly completed 53,340 SF performing arts center, art gallery, and event center at 201 Main Street in Nashua, NH.

There is only a week or so left of this first exhibit before it rotates to a student exhibition with the Nashua School district in early May, and we soon they will be announcing details on their call to artists for the next three rotations.

Please stop in if you can, it is all definitely worth a look!
