Arts Place, Inc. is now accepting registrations for the 2018 Arts int eh Parks program. Arts in the Park is a unique summer arts enrichment program that offers art classes to children ages 6 to 12. Classes are available in Adams, Blackford and Jay County Indiana and in Auglaize and Mercer County Ohio, during the months of June and July. The fee for each class is $5.00 per student regardless of class length. For $20.00, students may sign up for as many classes as they like throughout he summer. Scholarships are available as well. The St. Marys Optimist Club presents their Field of Flags patriotic community service program and fundraiser. It is a wonderful way to honor the troops and help support the local Optimist Club. Some of their programs include: Easter Egg Hunt, SummerFest Kids Games, Winterfest, Memorial Scholarships, and more. The flags are displayed on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Days.
