Did you know that getting the recommended 7–9 hours of sleep each night can work wonders for your mental health? Quality sleep helps regulate your emotions, boosts your brainpower, reduces stress, and gives your mind the reset it needs to take on the day.
Stick to a consistent sleep schedule. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day—even on weekends—to keep your body’s internal clock in sync.
Keep naps short and sweet. If you need to nap, aim for under 60 minutes and avoid late afternoon snoozes.
Power down before bedtime. Turn off screens at least 30 minutes before bed to help your brain unwind and prepare for sleep.
Set the mood. Make your bedroom cool, dark, quiet, and relaxing—think of it as your sleep sanctuary.
Be mindful of what (and when) you eat and drink. Avoid heavy meals and caffeine too close to bedtime, and don’t go to bed hungry either.
