Recap: Member Meeting
Thank you to all who attended the Art Colony Member Meeting and opening reception for the Member Show. If you were unable to attend, we've added a few photos on Facebook , and you can read the 2018 Annual Report here . The Member Show will remain on display until May 5. Thank you to Sheila Smith from the MN Citizens for the Arts, artist and Grand Marais native, Josie Lewis, and Barbara LaMotte, Associate Director of Philanthropy from The Nature Conservancy, for making it a great weekend of festivities!
Memorial Weekend Activities | May 24 - 26
Memorial Weekend is a few weeks away, and we're planning a slew of art events for the whole family. Read on below or check out the calendar to see what's in store.

Findings Jewelry Symposium | June 11 - 15
Findings is a biennial event hosted by the Art Colony in partnership with the Minnesota Jewelry Arts Guild. Classes and sessions are open to anyone with an interest in the jewelry arts and are geared towards all levels. The highly regarded group trunk show of original work by jewelry artists will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 5 pm. Learn more here.

Calling All Art Colony Volunteers!

Potter needed as Empty Bowl Assistant
The Art Colony will be accepting applications for an Empty Bowls Assistant to support a series of make-a-bowl sessions. This position is geared toward potters who want to build upon their teaching experience and who have an interest in community initiatives . Learn more and apply here.
