It’s a fact. Everyone has one. Whatever you call yours -- mom or mother or momma, or mommy -- you’ve got one.
Moms’ caregiving starts early and continues throughout their lives. They are resilient and tireless. They comfort, encourage, teach, console, counsel, celebrate us and care unconditionally.
It’s also a fact that women live longer than men. More than half of women aged 65 and older will be single in retirement. The longer we live, the greater the risk of needing long-term care.
Does your mom have a plan for long-term care? Do you know what it is? Are you part of the plan?
