Beloved Community,

In times like these, when the voices of our youth rise in protest on college campuses, let us remember the profound lessons of faith and compassion. The power and determination exhibited by these students is not merely a cry for change but echoes of a deeper

yearning for justice and righteousness.

As believers, we are called to stand with the oppressed, to champion the cause of the marginalized, and to strive for a world where love and fairness reign supreme. In our sacred texts, we find countless stories of prophets and leaders who challenged unjust

systems and fought tirelessly for the rights of the downtrodden. Their example reminds us that activism rooted in faith is now and has always been a powerful force for transformation. Let us continue to stand in solidarity with these courageous young people who have put themselves on the frontlines for justice.

In our prayers, let us lift up those who courageously raise their voices for change, asking for strength, wisdom, and protection as they navigate these turbulent times. Let us also pray for our leaders, that they may be guided by righteousness and humility as they address the concerns of the student body.

Last but not least, let us hold fast to the hope that burns within our hearts, that even during our darkest moments, God’s love and justice will burn bright. May our actions continue to be guided by love, compassion, and righteousness for all people.
