Updated Standards of Practice
Watch our video about the Standards coming into effect June 1
It's almost June, which means the updated Standards of Practice will come into effect very soon. All occupational therapists in Ontario should familiarize themselves with the updated Standards of Practice, in effect June 1, 2023.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Practice team on May 2 for our webinar on the updated Standards of Practice. More than 400 attendees joined the live session!

If you couldn't join us or would like to re-watch the webinar, a recording is available on the College YouTube channel.

If you have not already, you can take an early look at the Standards in English and French on our website.

Reminder: Annual Renewal
Annual renewal is due by May 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm. A late fee will be applied on June 1, 2023, at 12:00 am.

If you will be working as an occupational therapist in Ontario after May 31, 2023, you must complete your annual renewal for 2023/2024. Completing your renewal means both the form and the full fee of $743.03 are received by the deadline.

If you wish to resign your registration during 2023/2024, you can resign online and receive a partial refund of the renewal fee. Read more about how refunds are pro-rated and processed here.
