For years I’ve pledged to commute to work by bike. And, for years, a number of barriers, real or perceived, have prevented me doing that. Too much traffic, takes too long, need to run errands at lunch, what will I wear, too much stuff, not the right bike, too hot, too cold... the list goes on.
Well, beautiful spring weather coupled with COVID-19 restrictions took those barriers down. I’m into my third week of biking to work and loving it! With some improvements for safety and cargo capacity on my bike, I look forward to making this a routine. I’ve been privileged to work daily with smart, fun people dedicated to increasing opportunities for safe, comfortable biking in Houston. Finally, I’m walking
(biking?)
the talk.
