You are invited to 2 upcoming events in our store: First, join us May 2 from Noon to 3 as we celebrate the grand re-opening of our Boutique.  Our expansion in this area has already been met with positive reviews, and we hope you will join us for shopping and one of our highly anticipated Jewelry Shows just in time for Mother's Day!  Want to read the press release about this event?  Find it here.

Next, we hope you join us in June for The Caring Place's 34th anniversary on June 7th and 8th!  As always, we are celebrating in our stores.  Both The Shops at The Caring Place and Second Helping will have surprise sales and drawings as we commemorate 34 years of caring in our community.  Help us continue the mission to provide for the basic human needs in our community by "Shopping for Good!"

Our Food Pantry Needs in May

Last month, our organization adopted a new Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Values.  Did our mission change after almost 34 years?  No, the heart of our mission did not change, but some of the words did.  We'd like to take a moment to share our Mission, Vision and Values below.

In the upcoming months, you will find us bringing these words into action throughout our organization in a variety of ways.  These new statements were adopted by our Board of Directors in order to simplify the explanation of what we do here as well as emphasize a culture of caring among ourselves and our community.  We hope you will join us as we illustrate this mission in everything we do and say at The C
aring Place.
