PUP Updates
Trail clean-ups and data collection are underway
This spring, the ERC is working with
WOW-Students and students from The Sage School, Community School, Wood River Middle School and Wood River High School to clean up unattended dog waste at local trailheads. Students are also working to educate the community on the negative impacts of unattended dog waste to humans, pets, and the environment.
So far this spring, students have picked up over
1000 (!!) piles of unattended dog waste on the Quigley, Adams Gulch, and Boundary Creek (along Trail Creek) trails. Keep an eye out for their continued education and clean up efforts in coming weeks!
