Virtual Summer Games
Although the 2020 Summer Games at Iowa State University had to be canceled, it's spirit lives on. We invite everyone, athletes, Unified partners, coaches and fans, to join us for our Virtual Summer Games! Begin training and competing today and come together virtually to celebrate with the 2020 Virtual Summer Games video on Thursday, May 21.

Here’s how it works:
  1. CHOOSE YOUR EVENTS! Check out all the events you can do from home. You can choose to do all the events or just your favorites.
  2. PRACTICE! After reviewing the list of events, begin practicing those events that you want to compete in. As you practice, be sure to keep track of your times/scores because you will need to submit your best times/scores by May 17.
  3. SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS! Submit your best times/scores for all the events you practiced. You can also submit a video of yourself practicing or a recording of an encouraging message to share!  All times/scores are due by Sunday, May 17.

Did you know that Tuesday, May 5, is the first ever Giving Tuesday outside of the end-of-year season? Tuesday, May 5, will mark a global day of giving and unity as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever to come together and support the causes we believe in and the people who are most vulnerable to COVID-19.

Every donation made on Tuesday will be matched by Special Olympics Founding Partner, The Coca-Cola Company.
